Doctor Who - For Her

[Doctor/Donna | PG-13 | angst/romance] He took it all. Everything. He saw it briefly, felt it; snatches and snippets and moments and feelings and pieces of a life. His voice. Her laughter. The colour of his eyes. Her hand in his. The racing of her heart as she stepped out into the snow of her first alien world, the excitement and the wonder and the sheer madness of it all. The trembling of her hands as she turned around on her wedding day to find herself in a strange place with a strange man—and she shouted and snapped and snarled, and she was scared, she was so scared. Standing in the shower after Pompeii, warm water coming down o

The Nightly Routine

[OCs; Carrie & Catherine (Russell); femslash | PG | humour] "Sasha's at it again." "You go." "I went the last time." "She's your baby." "Mhm, only when she makes you get up in the middle of the night, apparently." "You had her before I met you.  Hence:  yours." "Nice try.  Haven't had that one in a while." "Yeah, I thought I'd try it again.  No?" "Don't think so." "I'm going," Catherine grumbled, throwing back the covers and jamming her feet into her fuzzy slippers.  "You better appreciate what I do for you, is all I'm sayin'." "I'd appreciate it more if there were less lip about it

63. Wild West - Warming Up

[Mary/Angela | PG-13 | fluff] "I said I don't—"  She inhaled sharply as Mary's fingers grazed her thigh.  "Jesus, Mary—your hands are freezing!" "Maybe you can warm them up for me, then, eh?" "I don't..."  Angela broke off as Mary's hand brushed the inside of her thigh again. "Sorry, what was that?"  Mary eyed her with a smirk. "I'm not..."  She sucked in her breath as Mary's cold fingers trailed higher. "Still not in the mood?" Angela shook her head, breath still caught in her throat. "Now, you're gonna have to help me out a bit, there, Ange.  Was that a, 'No, I'm still not in the mood,' or a, 'No, I'm in the mood now'?" "

3. Doctor Who - Patience is...

Full Title: Patience is a Virtue [Doctor/Donna | G | fluff] Donna squinted across the black, grassy plain, darkness obscuring her view of... well, nearly everything.  She could barely make out a couple of strange trees, and a lot of grass.  But nothing that looked particularly interesting.  "What're we doin' here, Doctor?  You sure you set the co-ordinates right?"     "Yep," he replied, popping the 'p', pulling the TARDIS door closed behind him.  "Velludria.  Ronsphar Galaxy.  And if I've calculated correctly, we should be in for a real treat in about...

D+C - her gift to him

[OCs; Daniel & Catherine (Walsh)| G | fluff ] She was there when he opened his eyes, hair falling over her shoulder.  Cross-legged, head tilted down, book in her lap.  Long fingers on the pages. Pillows.  Bed. It was morning. Was something wrong? She usually read in the living room in the morning, so she didn't wake him up. He put his hand out, resting it on her knee.  "Catherine?" She turned to him with a radiant smile, flipping her book shut. She was so beautiful. "Morning, Dad."  The tones of her voice were warm and rich and welcoming, and her words were clear and simple. But they

Second Chance

"No!"  The cry tore itself from my throat just as I knew it was too late. The acrid smell of gunpowder burned my nostrils; the hot tears stung my eyes as I squeezed them shut.  I couldn't look.  Oh God, I couldn't look. The seconds felt like days. I couldn't look.  Oh God. A soft sob, and my eyes flew open.  She looked back at me, small and sad. There was a hole the size of a bullet in the wall behind her head. "I couldn't do it."  She choked on the words. The relief washed in, warm and overwhelming.  I dropped to my knees heavily, pulling her trembling body against me.  I smiled even as I cried.
